THE NORTH'S LEADING ORCHID NURSERY

There has long been an almost mystical charm to orchids. They have often had an undeserved reputation of being not only difficult to grow, but also expensive. Historically, they have been in cultivation since the time of Confucius over 2000 years ago, and were given a mention in the 'I Ching'. Victorian Britain saw the great plant hunters of these times find a very lucrative marketplace for unusual plants, and orchids became the plants to own.

Today orchids are the fastest selling pot plant in mainland Europe, America and the Far East. Their ease of culture and extremely long flowering period as well as their adaptability to the indoor environment makes them the perfect houseplant.
